Why am i getting a warning message?
Popify shows a warning on a recent orders or add-to-cart popup when it cannot find good data to display. Popify checks that the products in your orders and add-to-cart events are still for sale and have a title, image and working URL. Events with bad data are skipped, and if every event is skipped, the popup waits for good data.
What does Popify check?
When you add an orders or add-to-cart popup, Popify retrieves the data from your store and checks two things for each event:
- The product is still available for sale in your store.
- The product data is complete: it has a title, an image and a valid URL.
What happens to events with bad data?
Events for products with missing titles, missing images or bad URLs are skipped automatically and are not shown in your store.
If all of your store's current data is bad, the popup has no products to show. It starts showing as soon as Popify finds good data, for example after a new order for a complete, available product.
